• In Nigeria, Unique Pharmaceuticals Limited manufactures IV fluids and essential medicines using advanced technologies since its founding in 1988. It remains active with over 750 employees, nationwide distribution centers across major cities like Lagos and Abuja, but does not appear publicly traded nor engaged in novel drug discovery efforts—its focus lies on high-quality generics/formulations serving hospitals throughout West Africa.
• In the United States, Unique Pharmaceuticals operated out of Temple, Texas as a compounding pharmacy/outsource provider until it was acquired by QuVa Pharma Inc. in November 2015. At that time it had about 150–170 employees, annual revenues around $8M USD, specializing mainly in compounded sterile preparations under FDA oversight before integration into its acquirer’s operations.
