United Co-operatives

United Co-operatives was a prominent UK-based consumer co-operative that operated a significant healthcare and pharmacy business. Before its 2007 merger with the Co-operative Group, it was the UK's second-largest co-operative society, with interests spanning food, travel, and healthcare. The company's healthcare division, United Co-operatives Healthcare, managed a large network of community pharmacies and provided various clinical services. Following the merger, its pharmacy operations were integrated into The Co-operative Pharmacy, which eventually became one of the UK's largest pharmacy chains before being sold to the Bestway Group in 2014.
