United Health Services Hospitals

United Health Services (UHS) is a comprehensive, non-profit healthcare system headquartered in Binghamton, New York, serving the Southern Tier region. Established in 1981 through the consolidation of three community hospitals, the organization has grown to include four member hospitals: UHS Wilson Medical Center, UHS Binghamton General Hospital, UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital, and UHS Delaware Valley Hospital. UHS provides a broad spectrum of services, including regional referral centers for cardiac surgery, neurosurgery, trauma care, and neonatal intensive care. As a major teaching affiliate of SUNY Upstate Medical University, the system also operates extensive residency and fellowship programs to train future physicians. The organization is one of the largest employers in the region and operates as a regional referral center for specialized medical and surgical care.
