Universal DX’s lead program is Signal-C®, a blood-based screening test for early detection of colorectal cancer. In large multi-cohort studies, Signal-C demonstrated 93% sensitivity for colorectal cancer and 54% sensitivity for advanced adenoma at 92% specificity. The company has initiated an FDA validation trial in the US with Quest Diagnostics as its partner. Data have been presented at major conferences including ASCO GI and Digestive Disease Week. The technology is also being explored for other high-burden cancers such as lung, pancreatic, liver, and esophageal cancers.
