Universal Detection Technology

Universal Detection Technology was a biodefense company specializing in the development of automated systems for the detection of biological, chemical, and radiological threats. The company's flagship technology, the Biological Warning System (BWA), was designed to provide continuous, real-time monitoring of air for pathogens such as anthrax and ricin. UDT's products were marketed to government agencies, first responders, and commercial building managers to mitigate the risks of bioterrorism. Despite its early prominence in the biosecurity sector following the 2001 anthrax attacks, the company has since become inactive and no longer maintains active operations.
