Company intelligence / Profile preview
University Community Hospital (UCH) was a prominent non-profit healthcare organization based in Tampa, Florida, that served the region for over 40 years. Founded in 1968, the hospital grew into a major tertiary care center specializing in acute care, cardiology, and emergency services, notably housing the Pepin Heart Institute. In 2010, the UCH system was acquired by Adventist Health System (now known as AdventHealth), leading to its integration into a larger faith-based network. Today, the original flagship facility operates as AdventHealth Tampa, continuing to provide advanced medical and surgical services to the Tampa Bay community.
