University Pediatricians

University Pediatricians (UP) is a prominent non-profit academic physician practice group based in Detroit, Michigan, dedicated to providing specialized healthcare for children and adolescents. As the exclusive pediatric specialty practice for the Children's Hospital of Michigan, UP comprises more than 225 physicians across 17 subspecialties, including cardiology, oncology, and neurology. The organization is a key academic partner of the Central Michigan University (CMU) College of Medicine, supporting the training of hundreds of medical students, residents, and fellows. Through the CMU/University Pediatricians Clinical Research Institute, the group leads extensive clinical and translational research initiatives aimed at improving outcomes for pediatric patients with chronic and acute illnesses.
