University Physicians

University Physicians is the clinical practice arm of the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC), serving as the state's largest multi-specialty physician group. The organization comprises over 600 doctors across more than 125 specialties and subspecialties, providing comprehensive healthcare services ranging from primary care to advanced surgical procedures. As the faculty practice plan for the UMMC School of Medicine, University Physicians integrates clinical care with medical education and research, operating numerous clinics throughout the Jackson metropolitan area and the surrounding region. The group plays a critical role in providing specialized care for complex conditions, including organ transplantation, cancer treatment, and level 1 trauma services.
