Urban Public Health Network

The Urban Public Health Network (UPHN) is a Canadian non-profit organization that represents the Medical Officers of Health from the country's largest urban centers. Established in 2004, the network addresses the unique public health challenges faced by cities, which often experience higher concentrations of health inequities and social determinants of health. UPHN facilitates collaboration and knowledge sharing among its members to develop evidence-based strategies for urban health issues such as substance use, mental health, and infectious disease control.
