Company intelligence / Profile preview
US Medical Innovations has developed the Canady Helios Cold Plasma Ablation System, which received FDA clearance in early 2024 for the ablation of soft tissue during surgery. The company’s cold atmospheric plasma technology has been used successfully in a first-in-human Phase I clinical trial targeting advanced solid tumors. Published results indicate selective killing of cancer cells with preservation of normal tissues. The system has been used both as an adjunct to traditional surgery and as a novel approach to treat previously inoperable cancers.
