US Pathology Labs, commonly known as USPath, was a prominent independent anatomic pathology laboratory based in the United States. The company specialized in providing high-end diagnostic services to physician offices and hospitals, with a particular focus on oncology, dermatology, and gastroenterology. By utilizing advanced techniques such as immunohistochemistry and molecular diagnostics, USPath provided critical information for the diagnosis and treatment of various cancers and complex diseases. In February 2005, the company was acquired by Quest Diagnostics for $155 million to bolster Quest's anatomic pathology business.
