UTE GRANA CAR-T

UTE GRANA CAR-T is a Spanish temporary union of companies (Unión Temporal de Empresas) and research institutions focused on the development and production of academic CAR-T cell therapies. The consortium was established to advance the 'GRANA CAR-T' project, which aims to provide accessible, hospital-exempt chimeric antigen receptor T-cell treatments for hematological malignancies. The entity coordinates the manufacturing and clinical validation of CD19-targeted CAR-T therapies within the Spanish National Health System, specifically leveraging facilities in the Andalusia region. Its primary goal is to decentralize CAR-T production and reduce costs compared to commercial alternatives.
