Vaccine Biotechnology City

SENSYO Pharmatech, often referred to as the Vaccine Biotechnology City, is a large-scale industrial complex located in Benslimane, Morocco, dedicated to the manufacturing of vaccines and biotechnological products. Launched as a strategic sovereign project under the leadership of King Mohammed VI, the facility aims to ensure vaccine self-sufficiency for Morocco and the African continent. The site features advanced fill-and-finish capabilities and is designed to produce a wide range of vaccines, including those for COVID-19, using various technological platforms. SENSYO operates as a public-private partnership involving the Moroccan state, leading Moroccan banks, and international technology partners like Recipharm. The facility represents a major step in establishing Morocco as a leading biotechnology hub in Africa.
