Valley Processing was a food processing company based in Sunnyside, Washington, primarily known for its production of fruit juices and concentrates. The company gained significant notoriety following a major FDA investigation and subsequent permanent injunction in 2021 due to long-standing food safety violations, including the distribution of adulterated juice products. The facility was found to have stored juice in unsanitary conditions, leading to contamination with mold and high levels of inorganic arsenic. As a result of the legal action, the company and its owner were prohibited from processing or distributing food products, effectively ending its operations.
