Vantage Point Healthcare Information Systems

Vantage Point Healthcare Information Systems was a healthcare information technology company that specialized in data analytics and practice management software. Founded in 1989, the company developed the SmartCare platform, an enterprise-wide business intelligence and predictive modeling system used for population health and risk analysis. Its other major product, VP-Med, served as a large-scale physician practice management system. The company's technology was notably utilized by the New York Medicaid program to implement risk-group predictive modeling for payment systems. In December 2015, Vantage Point was acquired by Indegene to enhance its health analytics and clinical data capabilities.
