VascVersa

VascVersa is a regenerative medicine company focused on developing cell therapies to repair damaged blood vessels and restore blood supply in ischaemic diseases. A spin-out from Queen's University Belfast, the company utilizes its proprietary Angicyte technology to produce highly pure vascular stem cells from umbilical cord blood. Its lead program targets diabetic foot ulcers, a major complication of diabetes characterized by poor circulation and non-healing wounds. VascVersa is also exploring applications for its technology in ischaemic eye diseases and other vascular conditions. The company is currently in the pre-clinical stage, working with partners to scale manufacturing for upcoming clinical trials.
