VaxSys is a biotechnology company focused on the development of next-generation vaccines for tick-borne and zoonotic diseases. The company utilizes its proprietary Chimeritope platform technology to engineer recombinant proteins that combine immunodominant epitopes from multiple pathogen strains, ensuring broad-spectrum protection. VaxSys successfully commercialized the Vanguard crLyme vaccine for canine Lyme disease through a partnership with Zoetis, demonstrating the platform's efficacy in a commercial setting.
