The company is best known for developing the ImmunoCAP ISAC (Immuno Solid-phase Allergen Chip) technology, which allows for the simultaneous measurement of IgE antibodies against a broad spectrum of allergen components. This multiplex testing platform revolutionized allergy diagnostics by providing a detailed molecular profile of a patient's sensitivities from a single small blood sample. In 2008, the company was acquired by Phadia, which was subsequently acquired by Thermo Fisher Scientific, where the ISAC technology remains a core part of their allergy diagnostic portfolio.
