Company intelligence / Profile preview
Vegenics developed a pipeline of monoclonal antibodies and peptide antagonists targeting VEGF-C/VEGF-D for cancer therapy and other indications. Its lead program VGX‑100 targeted VEGF‑C. The company’s technology was considered high-potential but most programs were preclinical or early clinical at the time it was acquired by Circadian Technologies in July 2008. Some assets were licensed to third parties for further development, including gene therapy products with Ark Therapeutics.
