Veloce Bio

Veloce BioPharma was a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing novel topical therapeutics for unmet needs in dermatology and ophthalmology. The company's proprietary technology platform utilized specialized formulations of povidone-iodine (PVP-I) to treat viral, bacterial, and fungal infections, as well as inflammatory conditions. Its lead clinical candidates included VBP-802 for the treatment of viral and bacterial conjunctivitis and VBP-926 for chemotherapy-associated paronychia. Veloce also developed VBP-245 for molluscum contagiosum and common warts. In December 2021, Veloce BioPharma was acquired by Harrow (formerly Harrow Health), which integrated Veloce's late-stage ophthalmic and dermatologic assets into its commercial and developmental portfolio.
