Company intelligence / Profile preview
Velomedix developed a proprietary medical device platform capable of rapidly inducing mild therapeutic hypothermia in under 15 minutes—significantly faster than existing technologies—to improve outcomes in patients with cardiac arrest and acute myocardial infarction. Early clinical results from the CAMARO trial showed unprecedented positive neurologic outcomes post-cardiac arrest compared to published data. The VELOCITY pilot study was launched to further evaluate safety and feasibility in heart attack patients, but the company did not reach commercialization before ceasing operations.
