Company intelligence / Profile preview
Vendlet was a Danish medical device and welfare technology company focused on powered patient turning and repositioning systems for use in bed. Its products were designed for the health and care sector to help caregivers turn and reposition people with limited mobility while reducing manual handling strain and supporting patient comfort, dignity, and pressure-ulcer prevention efforts. The company developed and manufactured the VENDLET patient turning system and related in-bed care solutions, building a reputation in safe patient handling over more than 30 years. In February 2022, Vendlet ApS was acquired by Direct Healthcare Group, and the business was subsequently integrated into DHG Denmark with production of the VENDLET system moved to the United Kingdom. The brand and products appear to remain commercialized under Direct Healthcare Group rather than as an independent operating company.
