Verbal Behavior Consulting was a U.S. clinic-based provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy services for children with autism spectrum disorder. Founded in 2007 and headquartered in Lexington, Kentucky, the company focused on behavioral assessment, treatment planning, language acquisition, communication, social interaction, and self-help skills training. Its services emphasized ABA-based interventions including vocal, sign language, and picture-selection communication training rather than drug development. In June 2019, BlueSprig Pediatrics acquired the assets of Verbal Behavior Consulting to expand its autism-services footprint in Kentucky. As a result, the standalone company appears to be an acquired provider organization rather than an independent operating biotech or pharma company.
