Vestura is a clinical-stage medical technology company based in the Netherlands that specializes in developing bioresorbable solutions for urological disorders. The company's flagship product, Urolon, is a non-permanent, injectable urethral bulking agent designed to treat stress urinary incontinence (SUI) in women. Urolon utilizes a proprietary platform of polycaprolactone (PCL) microspheres suspended in a carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) gel, which provides immediate mechanical support while stimulating the body's natural collagen production. Unlike traditional permanent bulking agents, Urolon is designed to be fully resorbed by the body over time, offering a safer and more flexible treatment profile.
