Viachem

Viachem is a North American specialty distributor of life science ingredients, food additives, and specialty chemicals rather than a drug developer. The company built a sales and marketing-led distribution model that provides market development, technical sales support, and channel access for ingredient producers and chemical manufacturers. Viachem has served customers across personal care, cosmeceutical, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, and food and beverage markets. Founded in 2006 and based in Plano, Texas, the company was acquired by Barentz International in October 2022. Following the acquisition, Viachem has continued as part of the Barentz organization, with operations also noted in Augusta, Georgia.
