Company intelligence / Profile preview
Vintage Pharmaceuticals was a prominent American generic drug manufacturer headquartered in Huntsville, Alabama. Established in 1967, the company built a robust portfolio of generic medications spanning various dosage forms, including oral solids, liquids, and topicals. Vintage was known for its large-scale manufacturing capabilities and its role in providing affordable alternatives for widely prescribed medications, particularly in pain management and cardiovascular health. In 2007, the company was acquired by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals, and both were later integrated into Endo International following a 2010 acquisition. The company's facilities in Huntsville served as a major production hub for the Qualitest brand for over a decade. However, in 2021, parent company Endo announced the closure of these manufacturing sites as part of a broader restructuring effort.
