ViraTherapeutics is a clinical-stage biotechnology company specializing in the development of next-generation oncolytic virus therapies. The company's proprietary VSV-GP platform utilizes a chimeric vesicular stomatitis virus engineered with the glycoprotein of the lymphocytic choriomeningitis virus to avoid immune neutralization and neurotoxicity. This approach allows for systemic administration and repeated dosing, addressing major limitations of earlier oncolytic virus technologies.
