Company intelligence / Profile preview
The Virginia Biosciences Commercialization Center (VBCC) was a non-profit organization based in Richmond, Virginia, designed to accelerate the transition of life science discoveries from the laboratory to the commercial market. It provided a suite of services including strategic business planning, regulatory affairs consulting, and assistance with capital acquisition for early-stage biotech and medical device companies. VBCC worked closely with Virginia's research universities and the Virginia Bio+Tech Park to foster a robust regional ecosystem for healthcare innovation. The center was instrumental in helping startups navigate the complex path from proof-of-concept to clinical trials and market entry. Although it is no longer active as an independent entity, its mission continues through the broader Virginia Bio and VA Bio+Tech Park initiatives.
