Overview
VG712 has demonstrated promising safety and efficacy in a completed Phase 1 trial for cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. The drug shows rapid, transient depletion of all T cell subtypes without triggering cytokine release syndrome or toxicity to other immune cells. It is more efficacious than standard agents like alemtuzumab or rATG at clearing T cells from blood, skin, and lymph nodes with minimal adverse effects. A pivotal Phase 2 trial is ongoing with plans to expand into additional indications including use as a lymphodepletion agent prior to adoptive cell therapies such as CAR-T.
