Vitadio’s digital therapeutic has demonstrated statistically significant and clinically relevant improvements in glycemic control for patients with type 2 diabetes. In a randomized controlled trial, the addition of Vitadio to standard care resulted in a mean HbA1c reduction of –0.8% after six months versus –0.3% with standard care alone (P<.001), with an effect size of Cohen d=0.67. More patients achieved recommended HbA1c targets compared to standard care alone. Additional peer-reviewed studies have shown superior reductions in both HbA1c and body weight as well as improved quality of life and treatment adherence compared to intensive obesity management programs or usual care.
