Vitality Health Plan of California

Vitality Health Plan of California was a health maintenance organization (HMO) that specialized in providing Medicare Advantage plans to seniors in California. Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Cerritos, the company focused on delivering coordinated care to multi-linguistic and underserved populations, particularly in Santa Clara and San Joaquin counties. After facing financial challenges and filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in late 2020, the company was acquired by Commonwealth Care Alliance (CCA) in April 2022. Following the acquisition, its operations were rebranded as CCA Health California, continuing its mission to serve high-need individuals through integrated healthcare services.
