Vivat Therapeutics (formerly Collaborative Medicinal Development, LLC) is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing novel disease-modifying therapies for age-related and neurodegenerative diseases, as well as cancer. The company's lead proprietary program is VV-969, a small-molecule ferroptosis inhibitor being developed for the treatment of sarcopenia. Vivat operates using a decentralized model with specialized subsidiaries, including Procypra Therapeutics and Oncochel Therapeutics. Through Procypra, the company has advanced Cu(II)ATSM, a first-in-class copper-delivering small molecule, into Phase 2 clinical trials for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and Phase 1 trials for Parkinson's disease.
