Vizon SciTec

Vizon SciTec Inc. was a Canadian contract research organization (CRO) and analytical services provider headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia. Spun off from BC Research Inc. in 2001, the company specialized in providing high-end analytical chemistry, toxicology, and process development services to the life sciences, environmental, and industrial sectors. Vizon SciTec supported clients through complex regulatory requirements and product innovation, leveraging its roots in one of Canada's oldest industrial research institutes. In May 2007, the company was acquired by Maxxam Analytics, which was later integrated into Bureau Veritas in 2014. The acquisition allowed Maxxam to strengthen its presence in Western Canada and expand its specialized testing capabilities.
