Overview
Vor Bio’s lead program involves gene-editing donor hematopoietic stem cells to remove CD33 expression (“trem-cel”), allowing patients to receive anti-CD33 therapies such as Mylotarg without damaging healthy blood cells. Early clinical results are promising for enabling targeted therapy post-transplant while protecting normal hematopoiesis. Multiple clinical trials are ongoing for AML and MDS patients.
