Company intelligence / Profile preview
Ohtuvayre® (ensifentrine), an inhaled dual PDE3/PDE4 inhibitor developed by Verona Pharma, became the first novel treatment advance in COPD in over a decade when it was FDA-approved in June 2024. It generated $42 million sales in its launch year with strong refill rates and broad prescriber adoption. Clinical trials demonstrated both bronchodilator and anti-inflammatory effects. Additional programs are advancing through Phase II trials targeting NCFBE, CF, and asthma.
