VR Mentality is a Ukrainian healthcare technology company specializing in Virtual Reality Exposure Therapy (VRET) for the treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Founded to address the mental health crisis resulting from the war in Ukraine, the company develops immersive VR scenarios and a therapist-controlled platform that allows patients to safely process traumatic memories. VR Mentality collaborates with the Bogomolets National Medical University and international partners to train specialists and deploy VR therapy rooms across Ukraine. Their evidence-based approach has shown significant reductions in anxiety and depression among veterans and civilians by facilitating emotional processing in a safe, simulated environment.
