Warp Drive Bio was a biotechnology company dedicated to discovering novel small molecule drugs by mining the natural world's "genomic footprint." The company utilized a proprietary Genomic Search Engine to identify natural products with specific biological activities that were previously inaccessible. Their core technology, the SMART (Small Molecule Assisted Receptor Targeting) platform, focused on creating "molecular glues" to target "undruggable" proteins, most notably the RAS oncogene. In October 2018, the company was acquired by Revolution Medicines to integrate its RAS-targeted drug discovery programs and genomic platform.
