Company intelligence / Profile preview
Warrick Pharmaceuticals was the generic pharmaceutical division of Schering-Plough Corporation, specializing in respiratory and allergy treatments. The company was best known for its production of generic albuterol inhalers and other respiratory therapies, serving as a strategic vehicle for Schering-Plough to compete in the generic market. Its operations were centered on providing cost-effective alternatives to brand-name metered-dose inhalers and nasal sprays. After Merck & Co. acquired Schering-Plough in 2009, Warrick's assets and product lines were absorbed into Merck's global portfolio. Today, the company no longer operates as an independent entity.
