Warrnambool Cheese and Butter (WCB) is a prominent Australian dairy processor based in Allansford, Victoria. Established in 1888, it is one of the country's oldest dairy companies, specializing in the production of cheese, butter, cream, and milk powders for both domestic and international markets. In addition to consumer dairy products, WCB is a significant manufacturer of specialized ingredients like lactoferrin and whey protein concentrate, which serve the global pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and infant formula sectors. The company was acquired by the Canadian dairy giant Saputo in 2014 following a competitive bidding process and now operates as a key subsidiary within Saputo's Australian business unit.
