Company intelligence / Profile preview
Warwick International (also known as Warwick Chemicals) was a global leader in the manufacture of specialty chemicals, specifically recognized as the world's largest producer of TAED (Tetraacetylethylenediamine). While primarily serving the detergent industry, the company's products were critical in the healthcare and life sciences sectors for high-level disinfection and the cold sterilization of medical instruments. The company also produced chemical intermediates used in the manufacture of antibiotics and other pharmaceuticals. Headquartered in Mostyn, UK, it was acquired by Lubrizol in 2011 but ceased operations in 2023 following Lubrizol's decision to close the manufacturing site.
