Waypoint Centre for Mental Health Care

Waypoint Centre for Mental Health Care is a Canadian 315-bed academic and teaching psychiatric hospital based in Penetanguishene, Ontario. The organization provides specialized inpatient, outpatient, community-based, forensic, addiction, and geriatric mental health services, and is the sole provider of high-secure forensic mental health services in Ontario. Waypoint is formally affiliated with the University of Toronto and operates research and academic programs, including the Waypoint Research Institute and the STREAM Lab. Its activities are centered on clinical care delivery, system leadership, mental health services innovation, and evidence generation rather than development of proprietary drug assets.
