Wentworth Area Health Services

Wentworth Area Health Service was a public health administrative body responsible for managing and providing government-funded healthcare services in the western regions of Sydney and the Blue Mountains in New South Wales, Australia. The organization oversaw several major clinical facilities, including Nepean Hospital and Blue Mountains District ANZAC Memorial Hospital, offering services ranging from acute care to mental health and community programs. In January 2005, the entity was merged with Western Sydney Area Health Service to form the Sydney West Area Health Service as part of a state-wide restructuring of health districts. Its former geographical responsibilities are now primarily managed by the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District.
