West Michigan Medical Device Consortium

MiDevice, also known as the West Michigan Medical Device Consortium, is a collaborative organization dedicated to the design, development, manufacturing, and distribution of medical devices in Michigan. Facilitated by The Right Place, a regional economic development agency, the consortium brings together over 25 leading medical device manufacturers and suppliers to foster industry growth and innovation. It provides a "one-stop resource" for the entire medical device product lifecycle, from initial ideation and prototyping to full-scale manufacturing and distribution. Members benefit from shared best practices, networking opportunities, and collective problem-solving to address common industry challenges such as talent development and regulatory compliance. The organization aims to establish West Michigan as a nationally recognized MedTech cluster by leveraging the region's deep heritage in precision manufacturing.
