West Side Institute for Science and Education

The West Side Institute for Science and Education (WSISE) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that serves as the authorized research and education foundation for the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center in Chicago. WSISE facilitates a broad spectrum of biomedical research and clinical trials designed to advance the healthcare and well-being of Veterans. The institute manages funding from federal sources such as the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Department of Veterans Affairs, as well as private industry partnerships for clinical research.
