Westchester Square Medical Center

Westchester Square Medical Center was a private community hospital located in the Bronx, New York, that provided acute care and surgical services for over 80 years. In 2013, the facility was acquired by Montefiore Medical Center as part of a state-led effort to restructure struggling healthcare institutions in New York City. Following the acquisition, the site was converted into the Montefiore Westchester Square Campus, which currently operates as a full-service emergency department and ambulatory surgery center.
