Western Tidewater Community Services Board

Western Tidewater Community Services Board (WTCSB) is the public authority and single point of entry for mental health, developmental disabilities, and substance abuse services in Franklin, Suffolk, Isle of Wight County, and Southampton County in Virginia. It provides counseling, psychiatry, care management, crisis intervention, rehabilitation programs (including brain injury support), assisted living for adults with serious mental illness (Tidewater Cove), veterans’ peer support programs in partnership with the VA, and both public and private outpatient therapy—including telehealth options. WTCSB is held to standards set by the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities[1][2][3][4].
