Company intelligence / Profile preview
Whil was a private digital health company focused on enterprise-delivered mindfulness, stress resilience, sleep, and mental wellbeing training for employers and health plans. Founded in 2014 by Joe Burton, the company offered a science-based digital platform with short-form video and audio sessions, mini-courses, and wellbeing content designed to improve employee resilience, performance, and emotional health. Whil operated as a commercial healthcare software and employee wellbeing business rather than a drug-development biotech or pharma company. In February 2021, Rethink First acquired Whil and integrated it into its broader behavioral health offering, after which Whil was marketed as a Rethink division and later folded into RethinkCare's personal wellbeing solution. The company is therefore healthcare-related, but not a therapeutics developer with a traditional clinical pipeline.
