Whistler Medical Marijuana Company

Whistler Medical Marijuana was a Canadian medical cannabis company and licensed producer based in British Columbia, known for premium organic cannabis cultivated in soil and processed in small-batch formats. The company focused on commercial production and sale of medical cannabis products rather than a traditional drug-development pipeline. Whistler built a reputation around organic-certified cannabis, hand-crafted cultivation practices, and premium dried flower and derivative products for medical patients. Aurora Cannabis acquired the company in an all-share transaction that closed on March 1, 2019, and the Whistler/WMMC brand has since continued within Aurora’s medical cannabis portfolio. The former Whistler site in Pemberton, British Columbia was later upgraded by Aurora and renamed Aurora Alpine in 2025.
