Whitehall Laboratories

Whitehall Laboratories was a major American consumer healthcare company that operated as a division of American Home Products, which later became Wyeth. The company was a leader in the over-the-counter (OTC) drug market, responsible for the commercialization of household brands such as Advil, Anacin, and Preparation H. In the 1990s, it merged with A.H. Robins to form Whitehall-Robins Healthcare, further expanding its portfolio to include products like Robitussin and ChapStick. Following Pfizer's acquisition of Wyeth in 2009, the Whitehall legacy brands were integrated into Pfizer's consumer health division. Many of these brands are now part of Haleon, the consumer healthcare spin-off from GSK and Pfizer.
