Whitney M. Young, Jr. Community Health Center

Whitney M. Young, Jr. Health Center is a non-profit Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) dedicated to providing affordable, accessible healthcare to the Capital Region of New York. Founded in 1971, the organization offers a comprehensive suite of services including adult and pediatric primary care, dental health, behavioral health, and pharmacy services. The center operates multiple clinical sites in Albany, Troy, and Watervliet, alongside school-based health centers and mobile units. As a community-based provider, it focuses on serving underinsured and uninsured populations through a sliding fee scale. The health center also manages specialized programs for HIV/AIDS care, substance use disorders, and the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) nutrition program.
